Volkswagon Scramble
Sunday 7th February
Open to men and women, this event is in an Ambrose format with special Volkswagen Scramble rules applying. Winners progress to the regional finals in March.
Ladies’ Wyong Classic & Shield (POSTPONED)

This is a Jean Derrin Event. Defending Champion is Kim Burke from Shelly Beach, who shot 76.
Men’s Captain v President
Saturday 17th April
A Club event with a long tradition. Players are divided into two teams, a coloured ribbon indicating whether they are playing for the President or the Captain. The Captain’s team are the defending winners from 2020.
Men’s Foursomes
Saturday 8th May
Our annual alternate shot, team Championship where the motto is: “never apologise!” Defending champions are Ben Ward and Craig Wickham.
Ladies’ Charity Day

Each year Wyong’s ladies do a fantastic job to organise a special event to raise much needed funds for one or more local charities.
Ladies’ Singles Championship
Thursdays 2nd, 9th and 16th September
The Ladies’ Single Championship is played over three Stroke rounds. Defending champion is Louise Mullard.
Mixed Foursomes
Sunday 5th September
A 27 hole event, the Mixed Foursomes Championship offers the ultimate opportunity for a a team player to demonstrate courtesy and sportsmanship to his or her teammate. Defending champions are Theresa Lonergan and Brent White.
Men’s Open Amateur
Saturday 11th September
A premier event on our calendar, the Wyong Open Amateur is a Vardon event that is keenly contested, attracting a high class field including many visitors with low handicaps/ Reid Brown from Pymble, who shot 71 when this event was last played in 2019, is the defending champion.
Men’s and Ladies’ Senior Open
Tuesday 14th September
Part of the Central Coast Senior’s Week of Golf, this is a Golf NSW Senior Order or Merit event which is attracting an increasing following. The shotgun morning round is followed by a lunch in the auditorium. When this event was last played in 2019, David McMillan from Twin Creeks, who shot 75, won the SOOM event whilst Kim Burke, from Shelly Beach, was the women’s champion.
Men’s Knockouts
Finals to be played in September
Qualifying rounds for the Singles and Teams knockout competitions are held late in the previous year with the leading 32 competitors progressing to the Singles Knockout and 16 pairs progressing to the Teams Knockout. Dylan Grogan is the defending Singles Knockout champion whilst Warwick Jones and Greg Todd are the defending Teams Knockout champions.
Wyong Pro-Am

A flagship event on the Club’s calendar, which attracts professionals from far and wide including winner on tours around the globe. Always keenly supported by sponsors, members and aspiring golf professionals. defending champion from when this event was last held in 2019 is Brody Martin, who shot six-under 65.
Men’s Club Championships
Saturday 16th, Sunday 17th, Saturday 23rd and 30th October
The premier men’s event on the calendar, the Club Championships test players’ abilities in a stroke format over four rounds. In addition to the coveted cup presented to the Club Champion, other award-winners include B and C Grade Champions, Senior Champion and Junior Champion. Ethan Forsyth is the defending Club Champion.
Men’s Gold Medal Day
Saturday 30th October
Winners of the monthly medals throughout the year compete for the Gold Medal in their respective grades.
Christmas Cheer Days
Thursday 9th, Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th December
Our traditional Christmas Cheer Days provide the opportunity for players to win prizes to add to their festivities. A best-dressed prize ensures that you don’t even have to play well to win a Christmas cake.
